It all started with a Tumblr blog.

A year after I moved to Williamsburg my Mom sent me a gift -- little crochet kitty. We’re a very crafty family and she’s been making them as gifts for family friends. I found it to the cutest thing and decided to give this kitty a hip Brooklyn life on Tumblr and document its whereabouts.

Fast forward one year and I’ve written a subliminally autobiographical children’s book together with my friends Tamara and Michael. We enlisted a composer to write the music and help us record fun narration to infuse the book with our personalities even more.

The book went on to become a best-seller that topped children’s classics like Peter Rabbit, Sesame Street books and Brave. It’s been a wonderful experience and I can’t wait to bring the book back to the digital bookshelves.
